I don't think for one minute that we can blame Rafa for all of this. The players are as much to blame as he is. There is also the fact that he has had 3 ops for his kidney stones in two weeks.

I think Rafa has the managerial skills to win us the league but maybe not the team... yet.

You lads only need to look at the squads manure and chelski have to see that we are punching above our weight this season and that is down to the brilliant efforts of the team, Rafa and his staff.
It's easy to criticise Rafa but being realistic, both fergi and scolari would need shooting if they didn't win the league with the players they have at their disposal and as it stands we are still in the mix!!!

Your right in some respect, WE AS A TEAM CAN'T PUT THE SMALL CLUBS TO THE SWORD, We struggle more the weaker the opposition.Rafa has to be blamed in some respect in that he seems to love 1-0 Victoir's more than wiping the floor with a team.But with what is coming out about transfers and the way they are been done the board has to take some of the rap. look at the right side of our team for example "Kuyt", Think of all the great players we were linked with in this position and never got... Simoae, alves but to name two. As for the subs against Wigan the other night i seam to remember the same sort of thing happening against Reading a while back. Then it came out there was something big going on behind the scenes so who knows whats going on now?

Well, rafa didnt hit the post aginst wigan, or miss the chance against everton.

I blame the post for that. lol.

On what basis is this?

When Rafa arrived we were struggling to qualify for the Champions League let alone win it.

We are now challenging for the Premiership and have been close winning the Champions League pretty for the past 4 years, who actually has a better record than us over the last 4 years in the CL?

And all this with third rate amateurs in the boardroom.

Is everything perfect? No. Are we going forward and getting better each year. Yes. Have we got as strong a squad as Man U and Chelsea no, but how many £20 million plus players have they got?

I sometimes wonder how long some of the so called supporters have been supporting the club.

Not for the last 20 years that much is certain because now is certainly not the time to be complaining about the manager. Especially given our crap ownership.

Some of Rafas team picks and tactics are baffling to say the least.Lucas ! is he really Brazilian ?But I do think he will win the league for us,so I dont care how he does it.Lets not forget Fergie was 7yrs before he won league,never mind a Champions lge,and Utd waited 27 yrs.Our time will come again,have faith ye doubters!
