Listen Faz when I was a striker in the cheshire league I was called a faggot punched, pinched, spat at you name it every single week. I got on with it and gave some back Football is a mans game all he did was insult Evra in the heat of the battle albeit said a politically incorrect word. Offensive yes big deal no in my book. i remember an english bloke came to play with our local club a few years back and the amount of stick he got off the opposition sometimes just because bhe was english was ridiculous, but he just used to laugh it off same as id do if it was happening to me. all this political correct stuf is just gone way over the top

I accept they are professionals but the niggling goes on in the professional game same as amateur. You go to Anfield we see it every game. Evra like the Oldham player was playing up the race card to take advantage in the game or just to get attention. and there lies the problem. why is there double standards when it comes to racism. if a white man does something he gets crucified but if a black or asain guy says something its swept under the table. surely we are all equal but thats not equal
