Never thought Bent was worth £24m but would be happy if we got him got around 15-18m but can't see it.

I'd actually love to see Walcott signed but wouldn't be in Jan. Though if people who watch Arsenal are telling me he's ineffective, maybe not. Just seems quick, direct and that's what we need on the right.

Looking good for 4th at the moment as I think a run is on it's way. Couple of decent signings would give us a great chance. Torres looked sharp today - I'd love to see a summer move for him, especially possible if AVB is rebuilding his team.

KD shud try n get a striker on loan this month and buy a Quality striker in the summer or the club will get ripped off by paying silly prices this month for average players again.

Chelsea and Liverpool are both reportedly keeping tabs on Valencia striker Roberto Soldado.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form this season, and has found the net 16 times in 22 appearances in all competitions for Los Che.

According to The People, Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has identified Soldado as a potential January acquisition, while Liverpool have also been tracking him.


It is also reported that the Spaniard has a release clause of £30 million written into his contract, so Chelsea or Liverpool would have to spend big to land him.

Both Villas-Boas and Liverpool counterpart Kenny Dalglish are said to be in the market for goalscoring reinforcements this month with each manager set to see his frontline lose key players.

Chelsea star Didier Drogba is off to the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, while Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is due to being an eight-game ban for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
