Yeah, I agree with that Rafa. If it was me I'd want to clear my name, but I'm not sure appealing will achieve anything. The best he can do is get the ban reduced - he won't get an apology from the FA. They will say they already stated they didn't believe he was a racist. I honestly feel he won't get what he wants from the FA, even if he wins his appeal (something that seems unlikely).
If he wants to clear his name he'll have to sue the media for damages to his reputation - take it to a real court where proof is necessary, proof that the media do not have. Nothing he does will seal the lips of opposing fans - the media gave them what they wanted. It may yet go pear-shaped for the FA based on this kangaroo court verdict, but it won't be Suarez who gets them to change their process - his ban was far too important politically.

Yeah I think it was the right decision. An end to this whole affair as soon as possible is the best thing.
The interesting news is that he'll be back for the game at Old Trafford. He can expect a fiery reception to say the least.
Imagine the headlines if he scored the winner at Old Toilet...

Imagine the headlines if he scored the winner at Old Toilet... With Evra sent off for racial abuse. Suarez has, I think, learned a valuable lesson here. I hope he will understand that he needs to keep his mouth shut and let his football do the talking. He will initially still struggle to get many free kick decisions, but if he shows himself to be a more mature footballer he will begin to gain the protection Dalglish believes he needs from over-enthusiastic defenders. It will be interesting to see the referee's reaction if Suarez reports opposing players calling him a racist.

Suarez called him a "South American" in a derogatory manner and also said "your sister's pussy", yet got no charge. Astonishing really. Hopefully Luis will return refreshed and make an absolute mockery of Evra the best way he knows - by letting his football do the talking.

suarez should have kept his mouth shut on the pitch & in the court room, impossible for lfc to support someone who admits to that sort of language and lets not try the its ok to say it in the amazon rainforest bullsh1t ! I think evra is a complete knob jockey, but lfc backed suarez and it turns out he was saying pretty nasty stuff, or stuff that can be construed as being nasty. If it were another player they would find themselves on the way out of the club I hope Jamie carragher is sent to mark evra for his last ever game (jamies and evras lolol)

JamesPearceEcho James Pearce If Liverpool beat Oldham in FA Cup this Friday, Luis Suarez will also be banned for 4th rd and so return for home game with Spurs on Feb 6.

also said "your sister's pussy", yet got no charge. Nah, that one was okay to translate into English to become a meaningless phrase, unlike the word and harmless context Suarez admitted to. That one isn't permitted to have an alternate meaning apparently.

Yeah, good news that. Only too happy for him to miss 4 non-league games.
