bellamy, yes..but i don't agree on downing. maybe he should play on the left instead because so far he hasn't put a single quality ball into the box.

hendo and adam should be subbed now at ht and bring in stevie and maxi instead. but kenny will probably wait til there's 20 minutes left...

No-one disputes Downing can run with the ball but he does nothing with it.

He was bought to cross which he hasn't done yet, then when he cut inside he fluffed the pass to Carroll when he probably would have been better off shooting.

Henderson has been ball watching a bit to much, and Adam needs to get his set pieces in order. Carroll needs to be up front in the box, he's not Suarez, andhas been absent when there have been some lovely crosses through the box, where nobody was there to collect.

And as for Downing playing badly, maybe your watching a different game, he's been one of the only players trying to create anything, there's no point crossing it in the box if Carroll's nowhere to be found.

He has single handedly changed the game, everyone seems more motivated with him playing.

I can see the start of a great strikeforce with him setitng up Carroll

Collocinni needs to have that elbow looked at after the match.

Gerrard MOTM for a perfect 30 minute display, unfortunately I don't think he can play 90 minutes every week atm
