Spearing is some good passes.

We need Gerrard on at the start of the second half

don't understand why everyone's so negative regarding spearing. clearly our best midfielder this 1st half. if anyone deserves criticism it's adam and hendo.

carroll has had a decent 1st half. unfortunately there hasn't been any good deliveries from the wingers.

All that money spent and Bellamy who was next to nothing is looking like the best buy of the lot lol

Gotta agree with this Spearing has looked the best, Hendo & Adam have been non-existent and Downing less said the better.

Carroll cannot score if he is not passed the ball, he was clearly bought to score in the air which he cannot do from the [oops] he is being given.

Adam has been terrible and is quickly becoming a player that I want to see the back of. Downing and Bellamy have had good halves. Agger is playing well. Reina had no chance with the goal. Henderson and Spearing have ticked things over in the centre whilst being unspectacular. I think Carroll has worked hard but his runs just aren't clever enough (or the delivery - mainly from Adam - has been v. poor). I would love to see Gerrard replace Adam in the second half, and possibly Maxi on for Henderson.

Gerrard for Adam and Maxi for Downing

We miss Lucas big time. Maybe we should turn this into a 'get back soon Lucas' thread. That and Suarez.
