didnt see the game but thats a fckin disasterous result. we really needed to step up tonight with all that is going on. i wonder do the players have the ambition for all of this. are they happy just to turn up, train, play and pick up their wages? are their hearts in this at all?

hopefully city sign hazard next month and kd can try n sign adam johnson.
defence is solid,
midfield, needs at least 3 quality players next month, ie adam johnson, javi martinez, shaquiri,
and KD needs to sign 2 strikers ie cardoza, torres on loan, BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN BEGIN TO ASK FOR SIGNINGS, YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO SPELL THE PLAYERS NAMES.
Sign Reus

How good was it seeing the players wearing the Suarez shirts before the kick off! Awesome to see the team being together on this issue. Once we get past it hopefully it will galvanise the group!

I know it's easy to criticize Suarez atm for having poor finishing, but the fact that he's just been made the FA's scapegoat in their fight against FIFA/scoring points politically has got to be weighing on his mind. I'm not surprised we drew tbh.
Onto other players, I've said several times that Maxi is a goal threat and nothing more - he does not contribute in build-up play and that was on evidence once more. Kuyt has lost whatever he had, which was never much, but can someone explain why he didn't take the penalty? Adam's set piece delivery has been disastrous this season, yet that was the main reason we signed him. Is it true that we've now scored 1 pen from 5 this season? Do these players practice ANYTHING other than running around?
And why did we drop Bellamy? Did Kenny treat the fixture with such little respect that he figured to rest our best player (recently)?
I'll say it again - Kenny gotta look in the mirror. The team isn't performing as a unit, we are wasteful in front of goal, we are too defensive, and the bits our key players can practice in isolation are of appalling standard. Almost all of this is directly under the manager's control.

We had more than enough decent chances to put the ball in the net. We need to cut it with this 'shoting straight at the keeper'.
We had the chance to win the game today, and we didn't, we could of actually won by a few goals, but they aren't hitting them right.
This is a bad habit, we need it to be sorted please Kenny.

They didnt show the game on Fox sports in the states. I didnt see it but reading the stats it appears Kuyt was on the pitch when Adam missed the penalty. Why the hell didnt Kuyt take it. I realize Dirk has been very bad this year but Im sure he can still shoot a great penalty. Did we hit the woodwork tonight? lol

I actually agree with all your points but the last one thundyr. KK possibly could have stuck with Bellamy but ultimately it's not his fault that not of his players can hit the target from the 6 yard line.
Adam's set pieces are a massive let-down - as are Downing's crosses - whichs why we bought both players. Ultimately it's the manager's job to make sure the players are training the right way, that they look sharp, and that they can hit a barn door from the penalty spot. Can we honestly say we've looked a quality side from back to front throughout the season? We have a lot of quality players, and used to play attacking football last season. I'll remind everyone that the 3 goals we scored against Man City last season at Anfield saw us with 8 players in the opposing half for EACH of them. I'm not sure we've had that many players forward at any time this entire season, except perhaps for the odd corner. There's a lesson there that someone isn't paying enough attention to. And as for Adam and Downing, well, if you want Downing to hit crosses you need to play him on the left for starters.... And if Adam can't kick a ball over the wall then he needs to practice it 100 times a day until he can. Not rocket science.

The same thought has crossed my mind more than once, Flames. There is a lethargy and lack of urgency from midfield that is worrying, I'm not sure they know what to do when we have the ball, do they think they are all defenders or what? I think we badly need a Roy Keane type in there to bully them and drive the Fu*king wasters forward. It's pathetic how few players we get forward when we have the ball. I think it's time to switch to a 4 3 3 formation and let our defenders either sink or swim, we can't keep on playing defensive line up' and just getting one point for it.
