Here's another hypothetical striker question:
The end of this season comes, and Michael Owen isn't offered a new contract by Man Ure. Would you welcome him back at LFC?
He was eager to come back before going to Man Ure, but Rafa wasn't having it. I think Kenny would be less stubborn about the idea of that than Rafa. Whether he'd be interested in him or not is another matter.

I would not let Owen come back, not because he joined United I do not care about things like that, but because he is not good enough anymore. What I am really worried about is if Andy Caroll is going to cut it at Liverpool or not, I have seen no sign of improvements, and well 14 games in is long enough I assume. We defiantly need a natural born striker.

Really?! He's a c*nt. Turned his back on us by leaving for madrid, then turned us down for a wage packet at toon and chose scum over any possibilites of coming back. How Rafa gets the blame for this turncoat w*nker not playing for us again I don't kow?

very hypothetical question but after few beers with mates last night subject of Torres came up. Prob been done here countless times but hypothetically if he became available for cut price 15 million, would you take him back? if not who would you like within reason for similar cash. i was always against it but aafter thinking about it , think it could grow on me As Flames said if his attitude was right I would take Torres back in a flash he is world class. I would pay up to £30m for him subject to his motivation. If a player is not motivated forget it.

If he left us now I find it hard to see how another premiership club would be interested he looks championship level.

nope....he isnt worth 15mill currently..
maybe for a loan but not for 15mill..! What would be the point in that? If he regains his form during a loan why would Chelsea want to sell him after. I my opinion his form will come back, whether it be at Chelsea this season or next, or at another club. So for 15million I'd put a bid.

Owen is too busy rubbing champagne into his horses thighs than to worry about a silly thing called football.

even if we did sign him, he would spend all his time in the treatment room or in the stables like he has for years.
