Would anyone be happy if we brung in Nicolas Anelka if a deal could be done cheaply with andy carrol been given

he would be ok but i rather sent the money on a player that can make us much stroger like suarez did but i dont think anelka would have the same effect. he would be decent but wouldnt improve us much. if money was a problem then i rather go for a young striker. i think anelka is/will be past it very soon

we need a real goalscorer, someone who can score goals week in week out and unfortunately carroll has not been that player (yet) and i doubt if suarez ever will become that type of striker who scores 20+ goals every season.

mario gomez would be a dream signing but that will never happen. but maybe cavani if napoli fails to go through to the next round of cl (though it looks like they're on their way through)

would love cavani to sign he's pure class. also he and suarez already have an understanding from the national side.

on anelka, i think even if we did sign him on the cheap his wage demands would be anything but. i think he's past it now anyway.

any good hungry striker would do for me...
