I've been very impressed with Nathan Dyer on the few occasions i've seen him this season - including the other day against Man Ure, where he terrorised Evra. Evra comes out in the 2nd half then and the first thing he does is smash Dyer and get a booking for it - under the orders of his poisonous manager, no doubt.

As for Cavani, he's a fantastic goalscorer. The signing of someone like that would be an unbelievable coup. I won't hold my breath though. If we were to go on and sign someone like that in January, then we'd be looking good for a bit of a climb.

I still think the first priority has to be a centre back who will go straight into the first team. The Agger-Skrtel combo has worked really well since Agger's return and Carra's injury though. I'd be happy to see that continuing for the Man City game. No player has the divine right to walk back into the starting 11 - even Carra. I was expecting more from Coates at this stage, if i'm honest.

Haven't seen cavani but forum superscouts reckon he's the Jan man so ill go with that

cavani is quality, 40m plus value, so he will go to city, if he moves.

rumour is that comolli is in germany scouting, so i hope he is looking to sign Hummells...defence sorted, marin....right wing sorted

Mario Gomez wud be awesome signing, but can not see him leaving bayern.... but never say never.

We will be bidding against city , and i think its not gona be easy to out bid city coz they are goyn to over pay , i think Marko Marin is possible but Marco Reus wil be very tough to capture .

Not necessarily. There can't be many strikers that would want to go there now with their competition for places. And if a player refused to sign for city as he wanted to play for liverpool (and actually stand a chance of getting a game) then the seeling club would have their hand forced.

Reus is a winger and not a striker , and city are following him .

I think Lukas Podolski would be killer . and it is very likely he will move .
