If we are going to have to rest players as the incompetent Dalglish is hinting at then maybe we should look at resting the against City instead of the Cup game, I say this as we have more chance of getting a good result against Chelsea and might as well right the City game off as it's most certainly a defeat given what we have seen and know this season of the two Clubs. I honestly think we can still afford to get beat against City and in my opinion stay on course for what I think we will achieve this season which is a top six finish and place in the Europa League. We are in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup first time in years and I can honestly say there is a little tiny bit of a buzz going around the Liverpool fans in the City at the moment which I am sure will increase if we can manage to knock out Chelsea, first time we have started to get a little bit excited for years with hopefuly a trip to Wembley beckoning, we dont get much as Liverpool fans to make us happy now anymore so chances like this need to be milked while we can...
No way firstly its write not right in your sentance. We could just as easy get beat by chelsea (in fact probably will) so by your logic we are better concentrating on the city game where more chance of delivering results over the season
I think if we put out our full hit there is every chance we could beat Chelsea as thjey are going through a nervous time at present especialy at home, the City game am sorry I have written off, slim outdside chance at best of snatching a draw. Liverpool Football Club are going backwards mate, we are sliding further away from the big Clubs season by season and the team we have assembled is dire. I am not being defeatist or delibrately negative, but I have watched the Club that many years I know when things are getting worse, can see it in front of my eyes, if you want to read what people say Like Henry, Ayres and Dalglish e.t.c. that everything is going to plan then believe all you want, I would rather trust my knowledge and experience to know all is not as it seems within Liverpool Football Club, lets face it they would hardly say anything bad now would they even if true.
