If they hate Rafa, why reward him with a new contract, give him stability & back him financially(although not much). Plus, I would ignore Gillett's comments as they were probably taken out of a paragraph that also praised the manager.

Lets see at then end of october, after Man U where we stand, if the dressing room is lost or not. i read a report today that alex scum ferguson is going to leave upto 5 first team players out of his trip to CSKA moscow to be ready for the game at anfield.

It's always too early to judge a season during October. Look at whre the Scu were last October.
