I think it is important to note that 3 points here doesn't necessarily mean we will get 4th. I think a cup win is more likely than 4th, but that being said, I think a cup win will give a confidence boost that can help us, like the win at Stoke did. The cup match needs to be taken seriously.

Result: unanimous verdict as usual - a 3 way tie between the cup game, 3 league points and both!

If it finishes in a draw does it go to extra time or a replay? Extra time i'm guessing??

If I could pick just 1 to win, it'd definitely be the League Cup game. Losing at Stamford Bridge in the league isn't exact a world-ending result anyway. If we can win 1 of them i'll be delighted. Can't see us winning both, so i'd be DELIGHTED with a Cup win and League draw. Hard to see us not losing at least one of them realistically, though.

extra time and penos bar, i have a feeling that 1 might go to pens too. are we playing them the midweek in between the league game and the league game with city?

This is a good question and considering we are now chasing Spurs I could imagine a lot of people would rather see us win the league game against Chelsea. For me though it has to be the Carling cup game, if we win that game we will go on to win it! I miss silverware as well so thats a big factor
