even if he carries this good form on it doesnt mean his going to come back and be good enough to get into a team that is aiming to finish within the top 4. what he really needs is playing weekin weekout in the PL for a team like bolton, norwich, swansea ( good footballing team). all of our top young talents need to go to a championship team for a season and then to a PL team. with two years and 60 odd games should be a good stepping stone to breacking into our team

always been a big fan of his. very talented player. i've said a few times i see him as gerrard's successor, im not saying he's going to be as good as gerrard. i really hope he will get a shot at LFC.

how many goals or assists has he got? he seems to be involved in a good few of their goals anyway.
I agree with suso that let him at a champo team this year but next year he'll need to be tested at a low premiership team and see how he gets on. You can see how well the likes of Sturridge, Wilshire and Cleverley have done out of their loan spells and hopefully we can have a few players next season out on productive loan spells

You can tell he has something special about him, he just needs to improve and realise it in order to be a good reliable player in a liverpool shirt, I have high hopes for him and congrats for the hatrick.

A total of 5 goals in 6 appearances for Blackpool - not a bad start, is it? Pretty sure he's had a few assists too.

Tom Ince who we let go has also scored a couple of goals for Blackpool.
Well done Shelvey. We do have some good young players I was kinda surprised that we let Ince go. I had heard in the months previous that there was a contract dispute that was growing a bit bitter, but never really found out what happened in the end. From looking at his tweets on twitter, it seems he remains an LFC fan, and pretty anti-United, which is nice to see
