Not going to lie, I am living in Swansea, but I support Liverpool, I can see Swansea putting up a good fight but getting absolute hammered.

I think maybe it's time to drop Downing to the bench - to give him a kick up the arse if nothing else. I don't think he's been doing as bad as some people on here make out, but he hasn't been setting the world on fire. He looks low on confidence. I think if Kenny starts with Bellamy or Maxi on the left and then maybe brings Downing on with 60-70 mins gone he might feel he has a point to prove.

My starting 11 would be;
reina
kelly skrtel agger enrique
henderson lucas adam downing
bellamy carroll
i would go with this team because;
'defense' although i hope we wont be doing too much defending. when we have to, we will need our fastest and best defenders so no carra (his lack of pace will just force us deeper and deeper) and no johnson (well he can't really defend, can he?)
'midfield' without gerrard. henderson, lucas, adam is the best we have. and although i do agree with the fact downing was awful against WBA and does deserve to be dropped, i can't stand maxi. i know he pops up with a goal or 2, but he is soooo useless 99.9% of the time and he doesn't help his full-back enough and with the pace and trickery of the swansea wingers they will need some help.
'forwards' i know a lot of people have been saying suarez doesn't need a rest. but it can't do him any harm, can it? and maybe if bellamy comes in a scores a couple, suarez might just start working on his finishing. also swansea like holding a high line, with bellamy in the team and with players like adam, agger and enrique that would be very risky on their part. and if they drop off that would mean carroll is naturally a lot closer to their goal making a ball up to him very dangerous. therefore making the swansea defense not know whether to stick or twist.
i know thats loooonnnnnggggg -and that im probably taking myself a little to seriously-. but i like to be able to explain my theories before they get shot down. Not much wrong with your theories there, in my opinion House. However I would play Suarez with Carroll and replace Downing with Bellamy for about 60mins, then spring Downing and see if he can up his game!

surprisingly not many hav explored the possibility of bellamy on the left instead of downing??? what do u mean?? i mean people are talking about taking out Suarez for bellamy but nobody has mentioned Stewart Downing being taking put for him as he has been shocking

and i think a game or two on the bench for downing would do good for him....
would love to see maxi or bellamy on the left wing...
I agree - although I'd opt for Bellamy whose looked more convincing than Maxi so far this season GK Reina RB Johnson CB Agger CB Skrtel (he looked a lot more solid on Saturday than any game I can remember of late) LB Enrique RW Kuyt DM Lucas CM Adam LW Bellamy ST Suarez ST Carroll I'd even be tempted to rest Suarez - we have to sooner or later - but he's been so influential in every game he's played this season that I'd play him - even against the lesser sides

I agree with all of that He's been nowhere near as bad as the exaggeraters claim, but as yiu say he hasn't been that good either and I think Maxi or Bellers can stake a better claim for a start

Downing is clearly off his best form at the moment and Bellamy looks sharp. I agree with you Bellamy should start on the left on saturday.
