not sure which strikers to look for away from the premierleague but how about odemwingie? should come cheap at his age.

Odemwinje won't work cause of his age, if we do sign someone we can expect them to be under 24 so with little history of goal scoring ability unless they are special a Suarez esk player

Like redfordead has indicated we should be rotating between Bellamy and Caroll, although I would love a young back up striker: Marko Marin. MArko Marin is an out and out winger not a striker though....hmmm

I definately think carroll is looking sharper and should come right some time soon, but just in case, I would like to see us perhaps bring in one more striker. Rodallega isn't a bad idea, Kevin Doyle perhaps or my personal favourite, Roberto Soldado from Valencia.
What do you guys make of this story about LFC being ready to cut their losses on Carroll? Do you think he should be offloaded or kept and given more time? I think he should stay, I think he has what it takes.

It's not really a question that you can give a straight answer to, to be fair. If you're talking like for like replacements, Bellamy is the obvious choice. Suarez often starts with one or two of the others anyway, it's not just 1 of the 4 playing.

Soldado is a great shout, if he can adapt he has the potential to be our best out and out striker with Luis being the second striker playing off him. He's 26 so maybe slightly a bit old but Adam was the same age when we signed him.
Imo I expect Commoli to sign a realtively unknown striker from eithier south america or a lesser team in Europe. e.g we were linked with a French striker in the summer who was top scorer and had a really impressive record at his club and has started to play for France this season.
It's a shame though he's gone to PSG so no chance for him but just an e.g of the types of players were looking at.
Another is that Brazilian striker whose just found his way into the national team, I think spurs and ourselves were the latest to be linked a while ago but his club value him at 20 mil, prob is hes another 6 ft striker

When i've seen Suarez, Kuyt & Bellamy playing together, they've done really well. I've seen Maxi play really well with those players when he's got his chances this season. I think he's been a little hard done by to not get more minutes in the PL, to be honest, cos he's impressed me in the couple of League Cup games i've seen him playing in.
