i see where your coming from but all im saying is downing never seems to perform when the pressure is on him

but io see hwat you mean about bellamy being a super sub

I think that's a bit harsh on Downing. He scored against us on in his last game for Villa and he cracked the Sunderland bar on his Liverpool debut. I don't think he's the sort of player that would let big occasions get to him, he seems like a fairly cool-headed individual. I'd have every confidence in starting with him.

don't think Gerrard will start. Think he and bellamy will come on second half. Hoping Carroll doesn't get a start, would rather have the much smarter Kuyt upfront to use his runs making space for suarez et al.

My original call on here was:

---------------Reina---------------

Johnson--Carragher--Skrtel--Enrique

Kuyt----Gerrard----Lucas----Downing

--------Carroll-----Suarez---------

Subs: Doni, Kelly, Coates, Henderson, Adam, Maxi, Bellamy.

I still stand by that, the only possible change I might make is that if Agger is fit enough, he might (hopefully) come in for Skrtel.

For this one, I'd go:

4-3-3

GK Reina
RB Johnson
CB Carra
CB Agger
LB Jose Enrique
RM Gerrard
AB Lucas
LM Adam
RF Kuyt
ST Suarez
LF Bellamy

SUBS: Kelly, Skrtel, Downing, Henderson, Carroll

Fergie: "Well I think their fans play a part, there's no doubt about that. In my time, we've had 9 players sent off in games there, which is unusual for Manchester United, so that is all down to the atmosphere that can be created there"

Nothing to do with the fact that they were all deserved? F*ck off you drunken old tramp! He's a sneaky [oops] with comments like that. He knows he's not allowed comment on referees anymore, so he comes out with veiled comments like this to try and influence referees.

Ferguson has been doing that throughout his managerial career - and who can blame him - it works to the massive benefit to him and his team

If not for him there is no way you would get a referee like Howard Webb in the Premiership - a corrupt official who purposely gets decisions wrong to benefit Man Utd

I don't know whether he:
1) Takes bungs from Man Utd
2) Supports them
3) Is sh*t-scared of Ferguson

But what we do know os that ot's one of them and if not for Ferguson Webb would not be officiating top-flight games

He's a complete and utter disgrace (Webb) to the profession, and the gamne in general

Andre Marriner is referee for the game. Be that as it may I'm saying a defeat 3-1.

Hopefully wrong but you call it as you see it. Think this game has come 3 or 4 too soon for us.

I know Webb isn't reffing this one

Just uising him as the best examnple of the effectiveness of Ferguson's intimidation of referees

Personally, as it's at Anfield, I think we'll nick it - although I'm worried that Alan Hansemn thinks that way too because - great pundit though he is - when he talks up our chances we have a habit of losing

I remember before our 2nd CL final v Milan he said he couldn't see Liverpool losing
