I say play Johnson with Kuyt on the right, Kuyt offers a better defencive option than Henderson.

Literally finishing that sentence i forgot we had Carroll, is this a good or bad thing. lol soo I'm almost certain itll be between Kuyt and Adam for who starts, if Kuyt starts id say Gerrard would play the Alonso role and Kuyt would play on the wing or 1 of 3 behind Carroll. If Adam starts then I'd see Gerrard playing 1 of 3 behind Carroll.

Another match i don't think carrol should be on although he played lot better last game, if he does play i hope its at the start to rough up their defence and then replace him with bellamy before 60 minutes up

I too think Carroll should be on from the start and changed to get bellers on later, when we need the impact,by then tho i hope we are 2-0 up!

problem in this one is that the start of match is so important- and we start sluggish with carrol - fingers crossed for saturday

Yeh! ive gone through the bring carroll on last,put carroll on first and it seems whenever hes on theres not much impact,but he needs play time to improve and we have to give him a chance,he done better last time out,just never sure when to stick him on? so this time its first on and then first off if hes not doing it! I think!? we will see!

great news that we have agger and glen back. not sure if i would prefer glen over kelly though.

i really hope carroll will get a place in the line up. scoring on your merseyside derby debut is great but scoring against united would be even better for his confidence.

Utd very strong out wide. Not brilliant in cm. If we could keep it compact we could get a result. I fancy us by the odd goal. Bellers to come on with a late winner
