I thought Carroll performed pretty well today. The were a couple of spots where he should have been more clinical, but today you could tell his heart was in what he was doing: chasing lost balls, hitting 50 crosses, making several key defensive header, and creating good linkup with Suarez and Downing. He was also bloody close with that header that hit the post. The only time he put a foot wrong imho was the last play at the end. He really should have pulled the trigger and scored.
