after watching the brighton match it seems that a pattern is forming.we seem to tire alot in the latter stages of games.by latter i mean the 2nd half.it cant be down to team selection because surley the whole squad do the same fitness training. my question is are the squad doing the right training for stamina? because we really dont seem to have any.there is no excuse for lack of fitness and thats totaly down to Kenny.the players often say how they enjoy the training,is that because they get to play 5 aside all day and not made to put the miles in?
I have said it for many years - it is still the way we play and the technical ability of some of the players. short passes and players who are willing the run forward intelligently into space is the way to go.
well what ever the reason is we do seem to run out of steam very ealy into the match which means we surrender possesion and any domination we had in the game.
Theres nothing wrong with out physical fitness , its out mental fitness thats weak .
We have no killer instinct & we have no will to punish teams for daring to try to score against us & we have no guts , if we go one goal down its game over & all our opposition knows it .
In short we are a shower of overpaid pansies .
I hope Dalglish can get some fighting spirit back into us & if he can it will take a complete squad overhaul & years to do it .
This pansy boy behavior dates back to the Spice Boys of the mid 90's .
We are a [oops] embarrassment & at times I'm ashamed to admit I am a LFC supporter .
Not sure about fitness but we are way too slow all around the park especially in midfield. Look at any successful team from any code. It's about speed thought and speed of movement with and without the ball. Were tooooo slow
