Why does every one seem to think Spurs are so much better than us? Who exactly do they have apart from the want away Modric that is so much better than what we have?
They are a good side as are we. It will be tough but there is no reason we can't come away with a good result. I would say there forward gears are alot stronger than ours, Bale on one side, Lennon on the other and Modric and Van Der Vaart in the middle is much better than what we have, I also think there up front partnership of Defoe and Adebayor has alot more goals in it than ours too. Bale is overrated in my opinion, Modric is better than midfield players, Lennon possibly a threat, Adebayour and Defoe I dont think will do much damage compared to Luis Suarez. Liverpool have one what I would call special player in our ranks in Suarez while in my opinion Spurs have Modric, Van Der Vaart, Bale, Lennon, Adebayor and Defoe who can all win you a match on there own, thats the gulf in class am talking about. I think Spurs from Goalkeeper to forwards have a much better and stronger squad too especialy in the midfield area where they especialy have strenghth. downing is more consistent than bale or lennon, suarez is better than any of there striker, gerrard is better than van der varrt, huddleston or sandro always play lucas or adam are better than either of them, when gerrard gets back fit i rate him better than van der vaart, we have no one in midfield better than modric, so realy its just modric. more nonsense

I fancy us to win like I do every game! even when roy was in charge ? Roy Evans challenged for the title on a couple of seasons were it not for James he might have pushed further. I think you are being a bit unfair there mate i was talking abt roy hodgson not evens. ps even dow i was young at that time i agree that team was probably the best footballing team we had since the 90s

I don't really get how people think that Spurs midfield are so good. They're good but not great, but have this way of being hyped. Scum beat them with fletcher and Carrick, who I would very much argue if they're better than Lucas and Adam.
I'm not worried about Lennon, much like Walcott, Enrique won't have to many problems keeping up with him. As for Defoe, give me a break.
The only players that I'd be a little concerned about are Parker, Bale and Modric. Adebayor is ok, but mostly when it's served to him on a plater.
They did well beating us last season, but that was when we had an awful back line, with Koncheski. If our defense holds strong, they will struggle.

If kelly is fit he has to play.give carragher a last chance imo
kuyt offers more than henderson but not ideal.spearing can last the pace and offer bite and was showing some form last season towards the end.adam on bench as unable to last pace and lacks bite.lucas is perhaps the best available which in itself is worrying tbh.downing is an outlet but will need to sustain it all game.suarez is a must and bellamy is the best available which is not a bad thing as he is very good imo.

Kuyt will be on penalties. When Suarez took it, Kuyt was on the bench. Adam should be second choice. Suarez should be involved in shootouts but not normal penalties.
