i think the top three, depending on who meets who in the QF and SFs, challenging Barcelona will be Bayern, United and Real Madrid.
These 3 seem like the only few that can actually prevent Barca from creating CL history - i.e. back to back CL titles

@ snakeye....milan would not beat citeh, utd, chelsea, real or barca so they'll have to be very lucky with the drew to get to the final.
barca and real are joint favourites, i think barca will win it because they have something to aim for being the first team to retain the CL. that might just give them an extra bit of something later on in the competition.
dark horses napoli and bayern. napoli are very strong through the middle with 3CBs and 2DMs and as very few european teams play with genuine width they are very hard to break down and with hamsik, cavani and lavezzi they can anyone problems on the break. bayern have a ridiculous attacking line up and judging by their early season form they finally have a manager who is getting the best outta them so they could do some serious damage this year.

Saw that, absolutely amazaed. Just went another level with his arrogance nonsense. Its a shame because he is a phenomenal player, but he will never be remembered as one of the true footballing greats. Arrogant tw@t

He would also have twice as much people loving him like the past greats at madrid such as ronaldo, zidane, raul etc. Its nice your hot and you have a hot girlfriend with an unlimited credit card but for fks sake, show some respect to people.

Handsome? isnt he aware that the only thing bigger than his swelled head is his wretch inducing adams apple?
i did chuckle a bit when i read it. its true about his attitude, its part of who he is as a player, and part of why he is so good, but also the reason he is not as good as he could be.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

Why cant Ronaldo be like Messi and Suarez. They have it all however they really appreciate the fact they the footballers today and therefore only flaunt it on the pitch.

First of all great thread. We all wish LFC was at the party but hopefully we will be there next year. I have a few ?'s Id like to ask everyone so here goes.
#1. Does anyone have any teams in Europe they root for in other countries or in Champions league when LFC are not present? I root for Bayern and Ajax both in league play and Champions league play unless they are playing the Reds. .
#2. Do you or have you ever rooted for an English team to win Champions league for the sake of the league? I must say last year when it came down to Barcelona vs the Scum a part of me wanted the Scum to win. First because I think the EPL is the best league in the world. 2nd because I cannot stand the way they play in Spain especially Barca. All that diving and rolling they do to gain clear advantage to me is garbage football. I know its done to some degree on every team in every league but its one of the main runs of play in Spain. How many games did that Barca team last year win vs a side that finished with 11 men besides the final vs Man U ? The way they play makes me sick, its like they have 11 Luis or should I say Louise Nanis on that squad.

Barcelona for me although they did have some big holes in defense. Have to agree KuytRobbenGod about the diving which I can't stand but the way they play football is unbelievable. Their passing and movement is phenomenal! I would have to say that they are the favorites and Mourinho will have Rral fired up as well!
