Put it this way if we beat spurs we have put ourselves in a very very strong points advantage over arsenal and spurs early on in the season with both games against them left at Anfield

i think we would struggle with that tottenham team that you have picked, even the best liverpool teams of the 70s and 80s would find it hard
i dont think its fair that liverpool should have to play with 11 men where as spurs are allowed 12

Is VDV even going to be fit enough for the bench? Either way I think this is a winable game. Their talisman is hurt and their creative force in the midfield seems like his mind is elsewhere. It may be a struggle but I think we can pull out 3 points.
