Are people to dumb to realise that we were shafted by newcastle on the last day of the transfer window, who else was available?
Kenny wanted to sign him this summer for a more realistic fee,not last January, but because Torres wanted out newcastle had Liverpool over a barrel, simple.
Get over it.
I have never understood that logic. If Torres wanted out fine! bank the money and buy a decent player in the summer. Carroll was unfit till March anyway and the season was almost over. I really cannot fathom this one.
