I would be happy if we managed to bring Sturridge in, looks like a good player now and a great player in the future, and actually albrighton is a good shout as well.

Upfront no real young striker I can think of bar the obvious available ones in Rossi/Higuiam both aged 25.
Cavani could be a good shout because of the Uraguay link but would be upwards of 35 mil. Rondon is another shout as I've heard he played extremely well for a poor Malaga team last year and hes very young. Other than that Lucas Barrios at Dortmund fits the bill being a execellent finisher and relatively young at 26.

Agree Sturridge completely slipped my mind before, he would be the most ideal player to bring in as the striker, someone who can finish and will improve massively with time and won't need to be a starter for at least 2-3 seasons.

But unless Chelsea do what they've done the last 10 years and not play there young english potential players ala glen johnson that imo will be the only way we'll get Sturridge which would be a shame cause it would stifle his development and potential and would mean he'd join us in 2-3 years time when we could use him now.

I can't see Sturridge leaving chelsea for us as he'll still be in the same position ie a bit part player. If he leaves he'll go to a club that can give him the 1st team football that he deserves.

I think there is a deal in place for hazard probably along the lines of if we are comfortably top 4 and still in the title race in january he will be free to join us with cole if he impresses and wants to stay at Lille making his move permanent I can't see us getting a striker now as we have 4 good strikers in suarez Carroll Bellamy and kuyt so hazard and maybe another top class centre midfielder maybe someone like modric if spurs are doing badly which they probably will do.

Id love to make a run at Leighton Baines. I guess you could consider Enrique a poor mans Baines. Gary Cahill maybe. Id also hope we take a crack at Matthew Jarvis and Mark Van Bommel. As for strikers take a look at Klause Van Huntelaar and if things keep falling apart at Arsenal maybe Theo Walcott.

Joking how? 3 of 4 those players featured on champions league sides last season and feature internatonally. Van Bommel would be a nice veteran enforcer. Van Huntelaar is deadly in the box and Walcott at the end of long passes from Gerrard and Adam is a weapon. Jarvis would be a solid depth signing. Unless you mean these are players we wont be able to get.

Hazard and Sturrige won't be leaving any time soon unless it's a ridiculous bid i.e over 40 mil for Hazard or over 15mil for sturridge.

Also Hazard has worked so hard for Lille to be in champ league doubt he'll leave them mid season this January with them being ing Champ league unless they get knocked out of the group stages which is unlikely.
