i think that they are the type of players who could get us into the top4 which is what we need this season before attempting to buy the highest calibre players

Cahill can speak to foreign clubs in January about a free transfer can't speak to English clubs until season finishes unless someone meets boltons valuation
I think he is overrated but he is a good player

Shaqiri 4 me, European clubs r gonna hunt him down. 19, skillful, quick and lethal in front of goal. He reminds me of the real Ronaldo of Brazil.

Cahill is about t enter talks with bolton over a new contract isnt he?
And even if Johnson does get a loan, i really cant see city allowing him to come to us? I like Johnson and think we have an excellent chance of getting him, I really dont think City see us as a threat which was proved by allowing Bellamy a free move to us and I really think Johnson on one side and Downing on the other will cement our chances of finishing fourth.

Its not so much a wish list, as who out there is actually suitable enough for what we need and willing to come, and still fit in with the owners criteria , not so much a wish list as who are these 2-3 world class players people keep mentioning that if we bring in in jan will help is challenge...

1 winger to replace Maxi for next summer out of Shaquiri, Marin or Adam Johnson, imo Hazard is too over valued comapred with those 3 players.
1 Striker of world class pedigree who can finish, No Suarez creative players or Kuyt work horse players or Carroll Target man players just simply a finisher with a bit of pace maybe a youth player to replace Bellamy in 2 years time i.e under 20 yrs old.
potentially a 3rd choice would be a versatile dm player, we don't need another cm but we do require another dm after Lucas so maybe a cb who can play dm or something along those lines especialy if we plan to be in Europe next year with 60+ games a season.
Upcoming world class players IMO for 2014 WORLD CUP: K-P Boateng, Gotze, Sturridge, Kroos, Lucas Leiva, Hummels, Kyriakos Papadopoulos,

I like the shout or a poacher type of striker, part of me harbers hope that in a few years young morgan can break through in that roll for us, but thats a good 2-4 years of yet at the earliest i think.

has to be a winger; johnson is my first choice, marin, nzogbia (i know it would be almost impossible, but maybe with a bit of player power and the fact that lerner wants some of the money oneill spent back. might not be worth the hassle though) albrighton, shaqiri, javi martinez, gary cahill (sell skrtel first) i'd be happy if we signed any 1 of those winger and cahill in january. javi martinez can wait until next summer.

We could be in for Daniel Sturridge, maybe kill 2 birds with one stone and solve the right-wing/striker problems. Id still prefer Marin but only because we wont be signing Adam Johnson.
