These things can be worked out in training and I think they will be. Whats wrong with having 3 or 4 13 goal scorers? We could have that many if we fit Carroll in as a spoke instead of trying to make him the wheel.

Don't think they start a let's kick it to his head philosophy, I think his movement so far has been so poor that he takes away a position that is otherwise filled with intelligent running creating space for others, and when he does move it is into the wrong areas so clogs up attacks. It isn't the rest of the teams fault. Also wanna make it clear I'm only basing this on his games so far, not saying he won't come good.

He has scored more than torres.. and also for example dzeko..Did nothing all season for city now is banging in the games.

ANDY CARROLL DOES NOT SCORE GOALS WITH BLINDING PACE!!!

He uses his strength, head and powerful left foot. Check some vids online.... Your acting like you never saw a Newcastle game last season!
Says the boy who seems to think Carroll scored a hatrick against us last season...So far everything that made him great at newcastle, the fact that he was always in the right place, good movement, fantastic header, hungry and always anticipating the ball has not been evident in a red shirt.

I like others have not been impressed by Carroll so far. But just thinking back to his England Debut when he looked top drawer and ran the show. That takes some doing at International level. So you never know we might all be surprised. One thing for sure if he does step up to the mark and now we have Bellamy in the mix it could just give us the push to go beyond fourth spot into uncharted territory.

Bellamy signing could turn out to be a master stroke if the midfield gels, carrol might have to be a bit patient that's all

I think for Carroll to succeed, we need to change our style and formation drastically to bring the best out of him. Question is - is that worth it?

Already we're seeing stark differences with and without carroll on the pitch. We're a lot more fluid and mobile without carroll. It reminds me of the times when we had crouchy on the pitch. No disrespect to him but he slowed our counter-attacks dramatically to a point in was painful to watch.

If we had wanted someone who could just head the ball, why not get someone like kevin davies or even Niall Quinn??

Carroll seems to be lacking what he had at newcastle. Imo I think Liverpool isn't the right fit for him, I think Newcastle is because he is a Gordie and he really loves that club. So far in the season and pre season his movement has been poor and from what I've seen all passing fluidity is lost out of the game when he plays, but I think he has the ability to play well, if we stop trying to get it to his head all the time he could be a real big threat. I don't think we can use the excuse that he's not fully fit anymore, he has a whole pre season under his belt, I just really hope he shows his worth.
