Yes because n'zogbia has been pure class at villa hasn't he. He is a waste of space and downing is a very good player and has done very well for us in these first few games every transfer is a gamble. You are not an lfc fan no fan would shoot down there own players before they have even played a season for the club and especially when we have had a good start to the season if we were in arsenals position I could understand but we are not for the first time in a long time we look good and we will be challenging for top 4 without a doubt and I am certain we will be at least 3rd maybe im being optimistic but that's what fans do no point in following a club that you have no hope for and can't wait for them to fail.

+1. Well said, emp!

Only 2 teams have not dropped points thus far, and we're top of the rest (as in the teams on the same number of points as us do not match our goal difference). Considering we've already played one of our bogey sides (Sunderland - the other [Birmingham] not being in the division), won at Arsenal for the first time in 11 years, and thrashed dark horse top 6 contenders Bolton, I'd say we're doing far too well for all this negativity.

Were we top of the division with Carroll scoring at a goal roughly every 180 minutes (considered a good return for any striker) some people would still have something to say about him not being good enough. Oh wait, has Carroll only played about 200 minutes thus far this season? And he's scored a goal, and had both a goal and an assist wrongly disallowed? Amateur pundits...
