Can't remember the last time we beat them. Hopefully we can pick up a win but stoke are very difficult to breakdown especially at the brittania.

They are always tough to beat but I think we have the ability and creativeness to break themn down at the back. If we can get one early I think we can push ahead and win 2 or 3 nil!

Carroll should definitely not start. We play much better without him, Kuyt more than deserves to start ahead of him in the striking role. Also, let's not try to beat stoke at their own game, i.e. big man heading it in, let's play it around them like we did against bolton and they won't know what's hit them. Skrtel at right back to help with aerial threat, Carroll on the bench, hopefully a clean sheet but with the way Stoke play they can always nick a cheeky goal.

might be the kind of game to throw carroll in cause there defenders are a nightmare. although we should pass them off the park hopefully.


if we are serious about top 4 we cannot afford to drop points at places like stoken newcastle and everton like we did last season

put kuyt, saurez on.

if saurez starts, i can c stoke defenders targetting him, i wud let carroll bully them for 60min and unleash kuyt, saurez, wen the stoke defenders r tired, black n blue from carroll bullying them.
