Me personaly I think next summer will be the big one in terms of us and the mega player to become a title challenger.
Before Torres said he wanted to go, we were signing suarez, and Commoli said Carroll was our no 1 target for this summer.
By next summer I expect the players who are holing the club to ransom over the wages given by the previosu owners to go.
Then the final puzzle pieces will the bought with a mega money striker, cb and winger i presume to replace Ngog, Carra, and Maxi for next summer.
Upcoming world class players IMO for 2014 WORLD CUP:
K-P Boateng, Gotze, Sturridge, Kroos, Lucas Leiva, Hummels, Kyriakos Papadopoulos,

Yes ok but we need champions league football. Its essential 4th is the minimum requirement this season.

honestly its between us and spurs for 4th, Arsenal have no chance, have improved at all, there only chance is if van persie stays fit a whole season

not alot of people are taking abt tottenhams chances. they have a taented squad. all they need is for the strikers to get their scoring touch back and they will be right up there

Man City have a lot of creativity with Silva-Aguero-Johnson upfront.
I agree with the other post that both Manchester clubs are the team to beat this year to win the league but that is unfortunately not LFC objective this year, our aim is top 4 and a domestic cup and i think we have the squad to push chelsea and arsenal.
I do think Man City will dominate the league but money doesn't always win things, Real buy everyone but Barcelona always win the league and champions league etc.

aguero and silva look like they could tear teams apart at will, dzeko is looking something like the player he was in germany, and they are very good defensively. they still have a lot of problems though; their passing through midfield is shockingly slow at times, they seem to rely of silva for a creative spark, their manager always names a ridiculously defensive midfield they will have a lot of unhappy players in and around their dressing room (i dont think its as bad as the media say it is) but i dont think they have a good team spirit they have no leaders on the pitch and the seldom play a team, 11 individuals most of the time, and they will get distracted by the CL. that and their manager is not right for the PL are all reasons why city will not win the league this season; man utd or chelsea will win the league
