Ladies & Gents,

Firstly can I say sorry to everyone whos enjoyment I may have spolied lately by starting or getting involved in any childish name calling or squabbling of this forum.

The first game of the season starts today so lets all put the last few weeks behind us and concemtrate on what could be one of our best seasons in a long time. The club seems to going in the right direction with owners not afraid to put their hands in their pockets and Kenny at the helm.

Its only a suggestion but how about us mods remove any posts made by any user of the forum straight away that we think is going to lead to what we've all witnessed lately. lets nip things in the bud before they get out of hand.

i am not in favour of 'removing posts' because its very subjective as to what is acceptable or not. Warnings are better in my view Besides when its the mods doing the posts which are a bit over the top who is going to remove them?

I think sin bins would work as I am sure Dunk wouldnt want to see everyone getting permenant bans what about 1 month sin bin for the people who come up with vile stuff like defending the rioters for example

Yeah i'd agree with that, Armitage. I think a warning would be sufficient, and further action taken on someone who doesn't heed that warning.

The post I was on about Armi are the ones we seen with all the name calling and personal insults. And nobody should be allowed to post nonsense again like that not even mods. ( again )

I agree with the theme of this thread and happy to keep to LFC. But defending rioters in the week we have had is crassly irresponsible. Even if that’s their view would it not be sensible to keep it to themselves in the extreme circumstances we found ourselves in? It’s that lack of judgement, plain common sense or decency that gets to me. I suspect there is one of them (recently returned from a spell away) who comes on here for no reason other than to be inflammatory and enjoys the reaction.

And he has apologised for it quite clearly TBF.
