at the risk of being tracked down and gutted.... whats going on with torres this season
doesn't look interested to me at all.i know hes scored a few goals and agree that the lack of service is shocking at times, but really looks like he can't be arsed.
Seems way off the pace to me...

he seems tired to me, he just is not as sharp as he could be, but remember class is permanment

true but the spanish lads played in the confed cup so might be more tired than the others.
I am sure he will be back to his best sooner than later

He'll come good again , just feeling his way back into the season. He had a long pre season , playing in South Africa n then Asia. He must be knackered but he'll still get a bag full this season.

I just think it's that time of the season when the team are trying to find some form. I think it's more of frustration than anything else. If you seen his face after a couple of his shot's last night you can see it was frustration. A few more weeks and games under his belt will bring the best out of him.

i think he needs a rest - remember he has not had a break for a while ..... last year was the confed cup and it was the euros the year before ...... i don't think he looks disinterested, more a bit slow - his reaction times last night were not at all sharp, just like a man who is tired

btw have to say i am wondering why no one is questioning gerrard?? he has been awful this season and he still hasn't learned that he doesn't have to shoot every damn time he reaches the edge of the box - i keep hoping that one day he will realise that passing it some of the time is a lot more useful than shooting ...... all he does is end up giving the ball away too much

i am not being funny but everyone is bitching about lucas playing yet he has been better so far this season than gerrard so why is no one questioning his place in the team?? or do people think he is undroppable????

point taken... lot of games to go though... doesn't bode well for the rest of the season!!
