true but it's an assumption based on the fact that when we had 20 million to spend on a central midfielder. we bought aquilani. then we were skint. when we do have money again, i'd assume that we're not going to pay in excess of 30 million for another central midfielder whilst we lack width and back up strikers.

I dont think that Rafa is going get another central midfielder, to be honst, when we bought keane, i felt O well he is okay,maybe maybe not, i kept saying to myself, "give him a chance", but deep down my gut feeling i doubted Keane. Regarding aquilani, i cant wait, i am very excited, i cant wait for this guy to be fit and have a run out, id like to see him when he starts, then i want to judge him after periods of three, three, three months to see how Rafa takes him from strength to strength and how he develops under Rafa.

Since rafa took alonso talent and grew him up, i want watch this one.

I dont think any one of us can doubt he has talent, its what we do with teh raw talent

We will if Lucas goes. And if we are to beleive the reports, Rafa will have money to spend after this new sponsorship deal with Silva coming in January and then more to spend in the summer. Don't can it based on financial reports in the "media". Rafa stayed for a reason. He apparently almost walked in the summer but stayed after chatting with the fat yanks. They must have told him something he liked.

If they shove iniesta out of position he might get the sh1ts and want to move. We could go for him.

masch & fabregas wouldn't both fit into the barca team. they value busquets highly & would do the same job as masch. plus two other things will stop masch going.

1. he gets 3/4 times more salary than he gets now before xmas.
2. barca have a massive debt & won't spend like real madrid have.

toure yaya is getting off cos he cant get in their team.

He has to be offered something or his value will drop. Masch is probably gone but I just want to get enough from his sale to get a good...no great replacement.

i've said it her before but masch would be no great loss. the loss of alonso was and is way bigger. masch is good in his position. good but not great. if we could get 30mill for him, i'd jump at it. get cattermole for 15mill and have 15 left over.

masch really breaks up play well but isn't a great passer...i don't believe he has all the attributes of a great player.

we need start buying those high profile youth players like Pato, Doglas Costa etc.

This cattermole, and avaerage english boys arent going do it for us. Unless we can get the next gerrard.

gerrard wasn't a legend in his first game. it was earned over seasons. over a career of playing in england with high quality footballers. i beleive cattermole can be one of those players. i wasn't suggesting that cattermole can be the next gerrard but definitely could replace masch.
