two things here which worry me;

1 - why is he only 5mil yet has 3yrs left to run on his contract, seems low for suc a 'good' player or the number being quoted is incorrect.

2 - The only team he is linked with is the mighty Bolton. a mid prem team.

Put both together and it makes me think that he maybe is not all that great. Lets move on from this one.

i think it's worth a punt cos it's not exactly a risk. even if he came to the club for 5m and didn't make the grade after a couple of seasons. a player with a few seasons at barca and lfc on the cv is going to recoup 3m so essentially we'd be losing 2m over 2 seasons. i think the club can absorb a risk like that
