Are we forgetting Pacheco? the lad is only 20 i think and is on the fringe of the first team now, i think that he will get a bit more game time this season if he doesnt go on a loan spell and could be a big part of the liverpool first team in the next few years

I disagree

I didn't think Kelly looked any better than Flannagan last season

They both looked like pretty decent players who I'm sure have big futures at the club but I didn't notice it when Flannagan replaced Kelly.

If anything we were better as a team in the games where Flanagan played

Way off, Kelly was miles better than Flannagan. Kelly offered as much going forward as he did at the back, he was brilliant. Could be first choice now if we didn't have Johnson. Flanno has too many mistakes in him to be right at the forefront at the moment. Robinson is going to be world class short of injury. He is out of this world for such a young age.

I think the only ones that have a future in a liverpool first team is Suso, Kelly and Sterling.

the rest will either be sold, on the bench or back in the reserves

Out of the two flanno wins more tackles but tasked with winning the ball which is the main stat kelly wins it comprehensibly.

Saying that though Robinson may not be as fast or strong as Kelly but he's the best full back we have at the moment bar Johnson. He doesn't have the body to become a world class lb e.g evra, cole, but his brain makes up for it so much so I believe he can become as good as Capdevila who has the exact same physical style as him, basically very similar the Baines.
his not as strong and probably never will be but am pretty sure his not slower then kelly. i personally think robinson is quicker. the boy stayed up with and even looked quicker then wallcott when we played arsenal. walcott is regarded as one of the quickest players in the PL so for robinson to keep up with him is impressive. kelly is quick but not lightning quick unlike robinson

The results don't back that up

Flanagan was in the team for most of our big wins - 5-0 against Birmingham City, 5-2 against Fulham and 3-0 against Man City

He was also awarded Young player of the 2010-2011 season for his consistent contribution at right-back - ahead of the likes of Kelly and Robinson

Shame he doesn't play in another position as I don't see that much value in having four quality right backs

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
