Regarding Baines, your right, it will be very difficult but lets say we put a 150-20m bid in similar to Hendersen, I don't think they can reject that considering the financial mess their in . Its difficult but i wouldn't say impossible because money changes everything.
On Warnock, I haven't even seen him play in quite some time now so I don't know whats his condition but as you said some players are fine to resign but I just feel Warnock is past it and its best we look elsewhere.

Insua's probably leaving (Even though I think we should give him a go rather than blowing funds on a new LB)
The season before last with Aurelio on the sidelines, Insua was given a go at left back and he was one of our weeakest links We need better than him if we are to challenge for the top 4

Snakeye , I've got nothing but respect to you. You voice out your opinion in a very reasonable manner. I also believe the amount of money that you mentioned earlier will be enough to get Baines from Everton. Let's hope that we get Baines. Seriously , I would prefer Baines rather than Jose Enrique and Aly Cissokho. Yes, they are younger than Baines but Baines is a known Liverpool fan. He would put in more effort in playing for his favourite club compared to the other 2. And hopefully Arsene Wenger would not enter the bidding war for Baines as we know that they are also looking for a Left Back...

Are you sure that Baines is a Liverpool fan? I guess it's possible that he might have been but after playing for 4 or 5 years for Everton I'm sure he's an Everton fan now. Likewise, I can't see Carragher signing for Everton if he's ever allowed to leave Liverpool. Things change,

Just My Thoughts YNWA... Thanks mate and likewise. We seem to think Baines is a better option. Its just whether Kenny sees the same thing or not. If they decide its Baines am sure they will bid in the region of that amount to get him.

Why are you so sure that he is now an Everton's fan and not a Liverpool fan? Does not mean that when you already play for the club , that make's you the club fan. Anyway I ever read a report saying that Leighton Baines admiteed he is a Liverpool fan...

Likewise, I can't see Carragher signing for Everton if he's ever allowed to leave Liverpool. Things change, he is not just a Liverpool fan, his family are big season ticket holders at Anfield and have been for years. That said Baines is a lad of good character and would not jump ship easily, he feels loyalty to Everton. Enrique is my choice, he can do 2/3 years with Robinson as understudy. He can then be sold for an increased value and we have a 20/21yr old experienced replacement.

Baines is considerably better than those two but i can't see everton ever allowing him to join Liverpool - and whether a fan or not he seems too nice a lad to risk attempting to push through a deal that will see him a marked man in the blue half of Merseyside he is afterall one of Everton's best players - arguably their best
