Plays nothing like el nino, completely different player. Id be happy if sunderland get him so we dont waste a sizeable chunk of money on him. We have wasted enough/are about to on enough young british 'talent'.

I’m always suspicious when i hear such claims. I remember Le Tallac & Pongolle were labelled the new Zidane & Henry

But again it seems like Ipswich were willing to play the waiting game in hope that a club meet their ridiculous valuation – as Sunderland have

I don’t really know how influential Wickham’s desire to play for Liverpool will be as I remember the Heinze situation with Man utd

stop moaning about new threads - theres hundreds of posts in that rumours bit and its getting a bot too big, i prefere there being a new thread when theres a bit more news like sunderland apparantly getting in a 13 mil bid.

I havnt seen much of wickham but would rather have him than ngog so lets sort it out

i see what you mean but it just get anoying when you click on it and think that ther is abit of fact behind it and its just something from a paper

maybe a new transfer one should be opened ?

Sunderland or any other clubs can bid higher than us and Ipswich can accept them all they want but if Connor Wickham is serious about joining and be a part of our great future , then he will reject all the offers as he is the one that is making the decision. Ipswich can even 20m but if Wickham still insist on joining us , then Ipswich will have no other choice but to let him join us , even if we bid 10m or risk getting Wickham throwing tantrums and letting his contract runs out and let him off on a free. But in the end it's always up to Wickham and see how high is his passion in joining to become a part of our future success...
