Well he gave him a season Bart. I did hear Thomo had it in for him and I think there was an occassion you may recall where Robbie booted the ball at Thomo in training. But again that does not bode well does it ? re attitude / discpline. And how many of the other members of the squad got beaten up in the toilets in Liverpool ? I don't know the circumstances none of us do but there were too many of these events for it to be co-incidence.
Lol, my name isn't Bart, mate

Robbie Fowler should never have been sold. And make no mistake about it, he was sold more for personal reasons rather than footballing reasons. He never let LFC down in the pitch in footballing terms. Even at the end when he wasn't getting starts, he came on as a sub a lot and bagged goals (including what should have been the winner in the UEFA Cup final before that ex-manc brought the game to ET with a goal in injury time).
As for the incident in training, the story went that Fowler
nearly hit Thommo in the head with the ball and Thommo told him to watch it, and Fowler said that if he
wanted to hit him, he would have. Fowler's always been a cheeky lad, which Thommo maybe could have realised, but he took it the wrong way, and was dropped from the squad for the next game if i remember correctly. Fowler has said in his autobiography that since leaving the club he's met Thommo at a few events and they made their peace and get on again.
I'm not sure what you mean about players getting beaten up in the toilets?!
Another point Bart if Houllier was wrong to sell him then why was he not banging them in for Leeds or Man City. Both ckubs got nothing from him and moved him on. He was bought on past reputation alone. No post injury he was finished as a top player.
He had a more than respectable goalscoring record for Leeds, so that's a pretty unfair comment. I know a couple of Leeds fans who loved him during his time there. Don't think he was a flop there by any stretch of the imagination, but i feel that his heart has always been at Anfield.
