"R.Abramovich was seen in a London nightclub yesterday taking the team out for a meal to brighten things up after the PREMIER LEAGUE loss to Man Utd. A young spanish girl walks over JOHN TERRY and asks him to sign her arm, she then asks FRANK LAMPARD to sign her left breast. Then she drops her knickers and says to Abramovich "sign this". He replies "[oops] OFF, the last time i signed a Spanish [oops], it cost me £50 million"

Ian Rush went about things the right way. He wanted to sample life abroad not join one of our closest rivals at the drop of a hat. Ian Rush had far more respect for the club and its supporters.

No doubt Torres went about things completely wrong and Rush did things a lot better than he did. I'm not saying we should go out and get Torres back and am well aware he is definitely part of out history. Though, based upon ability and the fact that he is still one of, if not the, world's best strikers. He will not be sold now that he's just been bought for 50M but I think this year he will be a real force alongside Falcao in the Chelsea squad. We all know that on form he can score 25+ goals in a season and I'm worried he's going to be back to top form this season.

i hope AVB is a success at chelsea and i hope man utd, arsenal and city all spend big on good players, because then there won't be any excuses from anyone associated with them clubs when we win the league. time we stopped caring what them lot are doing, let's let them worry about us.

There are reports saying that the owners have given 80M to spend on transfers and whatever is gained from payer sales will also go into the transfer kitty.
