Maybe that's why we are just making smokescreens like the transfer of player that we do not need so that the Scums will get distracted on those smokescreens while we go for our intended targets quitely and effectively. Who needs players like Fernando Gago when we have enough first team and covers for that position itself. Maybe even Charlie Adam is also a smokescreen and just waiting for Scum to pinch him off us when we are maybe actually going after the other Adam...

Chill out. The King and Fergie playing games with each other.

If someone else is willing to pay silly money just to spite us, and if Adams wants to go there (and sit on the bench like Michael Owen) then they can have each other.

Fergie may not really want him but I don't think the King will be drawn into paying more than we feel he's worth if that's Fergie's intention. The King is cool... not hotheaded and stupid.

We will pay the price we feel is right else we'll move on to other targets. Makes no difference to us who else is in the bidding.

Adam will need to be strong though if he really wants to join us. No matter how much another club bids, Blackpool can't do anything if Adam doesn't want to go there. And if he does choose another club, then it's good for us as we only really want players who want to play for LFC more than anything else.
