I still think we cant pass judgement on Aquaman due to his lack of Premier League games, he did play well when given the chance, but didnt get enough of a run in the side.

Meireles done well for us last season when played in his correct position, an advanced role in the middle of midfield. He also played well when deployed on the left or right with the freedom to come inside, and he was only given these positions along with the freedom when Kenny come back. Roy put Meireles in deeper roles or out wide with a negative tactic and held him back. I suppose he should of had a mind of his own and just played they way he is used to.

If he goes and no one comes in to replace him who is better, then i will be gutted. But if someone comes in who is better then good business

We should ask for around £13 million for him though

For the record Liverpool are not trying got get rid of Aquilani , Meireles and Rodrigues. Which statement say that either King Kenny or Damien Comolli wants to get rid of those 3?

Meireles is only being rumoured to be wanted by Inter.

Someone said that Rick Parry would not have signed Luis Suarez , Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson because this is a sh!t set of transfer. Is that someone just been born into this world a few days ago?

Luis Suarez - We know what impact he made during his first 6 months here...
Andy Carroll - We knew how he tore apart most teams defences before he got injured and being sidelined most of the time in the last 6 months. He is the poison to most defenders who faced him in the first half of the season.
Jordan Henderson - Come on. This guy have not even kicked a ball for Liverpool on the field and he is being classified as overrated and failure. Playing international football and club football is 2 totally different atmosphere. It's difficult to gel in international football due to the fact that it's only once or twice in a long while that they trained together. So naturally it will take a longer time to gel together as a unit whereas in club football they will meet players every single day and can workout what they think is their shortcomings on daily basis.

So if Rick Parry was around , who would he sign and what are the prices that he would get the players?

Wakka, your not far off I reckon. Jim Tonez has 127 posts since he joined at the end of April. Now I am all for airing views but his are always negative and dont make much sense, just stirs the pot.

And yet – in something that was barely imaginable 2 weeks ago it now seems certain that we are going to start next season with a weaker squad than that we finished last season with

Jim you are a seriously negative man but I agree to sell Raul at a loss is baffling especially at a time when every man and his dog is going for 20 mil. Had it not been for Raul stepping up to the plate at various times during the season we would have been in a lot worse shape this year. It remains to be seen if it's true. Aqua was a failure cut our losses on that one and move on.
