i prey we aint signing cattermole

If we have a Mata/Suarez combo with Carroll leading the line, I am fine with him being the bulwark as they fly around him. I am hoping we get an attacking full/wing back and crosses come in from the backs. If we get a traditional, then so be it as well. But want quality, not focused on "role" needs. Carroll needs to work on his ground game and fit the system. Build around our best player for future, Suarez. *hoping Stevie can get back to the level once fit and rested*

I'm new to the forum, hope everyone is well.

I like the idea of Mata playing for us. He's got bags of skill and I can see him and Suarez causing some real problems for defenders.

I also really hope that we don't let Young or Cattermole anywhere near us. Cattermole is a magnet for red cards. And Young, while he is quick, and can cross, he can not beat a full back with pace, and can be to slow when it comes to the pass.

Just a thought, if the likes of Henderson are worth nearly £20m, does that mean our upcoming fullbacks Kelly etc are worth that now aswell......awesome

I think that we should all thank the likes of Chelsea, Scum, City, Real etc for the inflation of prices. Now, if a club sniffs a club with the means to spend coming, then they will up the price.

For example, the prices I hear that are being asked for Young, like 15mil. I mean, he has 1 year left on his contract Plus, he hasn't lit the world consistently on fire. But he's played for England.

And when clubs have teams like City paying 26mil for someone like Milner, then they will put silly price tags on potential I.e. Henderson, Young, and Carroll.
