Why would you think and want Gareth Bale will sign for Liverpool

coentrao is actually a natural left winger but was converted to left back for benfica and then portugal. don't think we'll sign him seems likely to go to real madrid.

i think if we coughed up the cash we could land gareth bale. they are only playing europa league next season and it ain't exactly a prestigious trophy these days. but you are talking silly money like £40m to £50m.

Mr contrao is on his way to madrid. Don't understand why real are spending that money on a LB when they have Marcello. But here's a long shot, can the young Marcello be coaxed away from madrid as he won't see many first team opportunities? He is very very good, young, and would make a fine addition to Liverpool's first team squad.

he's far too attacking for the PL he doesnt get back into position quick enough in spain where the counter attacks are a lot slower so in the PL we'd have a defender not in position to defend a lot of the time, witch obviously would be a problem

his defensive game has improved heavily this year, if you've watched real this season you'll have noticed

it has improved a little bit under mourinho but he is playing for real madrid in a very uncompetitive and slower league compared to the PL so he would get caught out a lot when defending counter attacks

since when is la liga an uncompetitive league?

i mean the bottom of la liga is awful full of teams trying to play nice football with sh!t players so the top 3/4 teams just roll over them unlike the PL where we have 17/18 teams who are very difficult to beat
