Am going to defend cole once again as I have previously on countless occasions, He doesn't play much and is on a huge wage we get that but so the other players that have been injured throughout this season(Gerrard, Johnson, Aurelio). I can only remember one game in Europa league where he played in his central position and although he did not score or assist, he was fantastic there running at defenders. We need depth and selling him will just crush the thin squad we already posses. He just needs to get back on form and would be a great back up playing in cup games and games where Gerrard and Meireles is injured which they normally are. Give chance til January.

he should be sold for the simple reason he won't be first choice next season, and we can't have someone who is always on the bench earning the money he is. if he was gonna be first choice then fair enough but we can't pay him his ridiculous wage to sit on the bench

Our actual problem with Joe Cole may not be solved merely by selling him. Because his wages are so high, if we get an offer its unlikely they will be able to match his current wages. This will result in him rejecting the offer based on wages, or him asking us to foot the short fall the offering club cant make up. Hence, he will still be on our books until the end of his contract, but playing for another club.

So KD has been [oops] over by the guys here before him.

N.B this will be the case with other players PFK, Poulsen and some of the others Roy [oops] us over with.

i thikn hell leave if he is not getting first team football.sahme he not as good as he was previusly. but i dont think that we will still be paying him cuase NESV want to lower wages we have a sqaud of 57 (including youngstaer) and pay over 117 milliom. sput have 40 player 67 million and they got more better players largely if we have to cut his price to sell him would still benfit club, due to the amount we paying him. I cant belive we actually agreed to pay him this much anyways.

That's a more realititic appraisal

I'd like to give him another season - you don't become a bad player overnight and everyonre seems to have forgotten how well Cole played on his debut match against Rabotnicki. The only thing missing was a goal but that was as good as it got for Joe at anfield and I'd like to think he deserves one more chance at repaying the huge salary he draws from the club

If i was Kenny i would tell the lad to get his match fitness back over the summer so in the pre-season games he is ready from the off to prove himself.

If he then fails to show he has improved then get rid in August.

If we have not been able to bring in better options in the summer transfer window then give him till January as would need him incase of injuries.

This is again where i do not see why we do not give the youth a chance if there is no-one else to fill the gap. We seem to prefer playing people out of position so unsure if that is a sign that the youth are not good enough or players and the squad can perform out of position better that what the youth can offer. Or we are unwilling to risk playing the youth incase they make a massive mistake and us fans jump on their case
