if rafa managed to pull off something spectacular like winning the league or CL at the end of this season, wonder what will the media say about it? and what will the yanks do?

You guys realise, we have basically the same squad we had last year, and as someone rightly pointed, potentially even better!

Since we have a stonger player at RB, and the return of a utility stiker! Younger players have gained experience, and perhaps we can see players like Ngog and Spearing stepping up the the plate!

Everyone were again writing off Pool at the start of last season, but look what we did. What's to say we can't achieve the same again this year?

Look ahead guys, think positive, have faith in the team, and support them fully, no questions asked.....

And not to forget we have some pretty impressive youngsters coming up possibly, like Daniel Pacheco and Damien Plessis.

Don't write off the youngsters because they can come back to haunt the opposition (re: Macheda for Manu).

I like this attitude.
Kuyt is a striker, Torress is a striker, Babel is a striker, Voronin uselss is a striker. We have the strikers, what i think RAFA is doing is playing the striker from out wide, and torress has a centrl role, stevie the free role, attack as a unit. We scored the most goals in the league last season, with the same strikers. We seem to forget that a key player, a spine of the team player has yet to play, a new skillfull playmaker.

The sea, will be the sea, whatever the drops philosophy!

Yes, let's reserve our judgement on the team until halfway through the season. Then we can see how the team fares, especially with ALL the players back.

Don't forget, we have partially injured players (Carragher, Skrtel) and injured players (Aurelio, Agger, Aquiliani, El Zhar) still to return.

Agruably 3 of our 4 injured are starters for the team and potential match winners!

We had our best ever start to a PL season last year ! No-one was writing us off, we did that ourselves (well, Rafa did it)
