im 23 so i only really started to follow football properly when i was 6/7 around 1994. around that time the likes of barnes and rush were coming to the end of their careers. at the time my favourite player was robbie folwer but in my generation only gerrard and carra are up there with him.

Stevie is a gr8 player,hes a favourite and will be one of our legends,he was at his best when he had better players around him ie alonso,you cant compare this generation to the past ones really totally different game now,having said that Stevie has won games for us on his own!that in itself is worthy of praise as not many can claim that.

2 - Barnes
3 - Souness
4 - Gerrard
5 -Liddel

dnt know much about past...but when i see him playing he seems to be the best ever player touched football..he litrally carrired liverpool on his own for many years!

wouldnt stray to far from those 5 as i say and its my opinion souey is just a tiny bit behind dalglish , but those 5 are the ones .
