Kenny won't win the league with Liverpool nor will anyone else unless we see a fundamental change at the club. Liverpool has not failed to win the league because of their managers. They have failed because we have gone behind our rivals off the field and we have not had the transfer funds to buy the best. For example when Souness was in charge he wanted to buy Roy Keane but did not have the funds. Yes we have had transfer funds but crucially we have not been at the top table. Let’s see whether John Henry has the money to invest in the stadium and the team. If not forget who the manager is it will be academic!!

roy is a great coach but a lousy manager, I hope he enjoyed his bedtime hot cocoa after that win cos he won't get many more, and will probably get tbooted after 30 or 40 games at west brom when he starts blaming their fans

We don't need a change of manager it's a change of players we need, maybe as many of 6 or 7 of our first team players can't hack it! They're not up to the job, it's as simple as that! Its time for fans to raise a massive and united demand for action on this issue! if necessary delay the new stadium and put the money into signing 5 or 6 top quality players (everyone knows the positions in question) What is the benefit of a new stadium if we are playing in the championship? The quality deficit must be addressed and addressed now. We have waited long enough. 20 years and no PL win is unacceptable to LFC fans, we have had enough...fix it now!!

We have had poor management off and on the pitch, however now its all different I think if we get enough funds this summer window and with training and learning to adapt to a pass and move tactics during the break we could be a force. If not with Kenny, then there are other Options Mourniho would be a good one, but its unlikely. But for now in King Kenny we believe

I had serious reservations about bringing kenny back as full time manager and nothing i have seen has changed my mind. Yes, in the big fixtures we've raised our game under him but we always do, no matter who the manager is. Although our new owners are a breath of fresh air, i'm worried that they will do ANYTHING if it means keeping the fans happy. Unfortunately, the fans DO NOT know what's best. Mourinho or Benitez are the only 2 managers who would give me confidence of catching up with man utd's 19 league titles...... :-(

Benitez took us to second - i think he'd have gone on to win us the league if the owners had been more supportive and no so restrictive with funds amongst other things. And Mourinho, love him or hate him, is a winner - make no mistake about that.

Kenny's overall record since he came back is only slightly better than Roy's - and most people class him as the most useless manager of all time (despite making a mockery of us yesterday). At the moment we don;t have the players but RB and JM could attract what we need and with their management we could be on top of the pile again. For us Kenny is god, but the players who we need either don't care or don;t know who he is. A generation has passed and we haven;t done enough to be able to attract the cream of the top on merit.

Like lumbar suggested Kenny is the best manager for Liverpool, Liverpool and Daglish is like an Enzyme and its substrate. They are both complementry, Kenny has shown he can make the big signings, get the best out of the players and tacticly outwit opposing teams. He may also bring back the liverpool groove of pass and move with good signings, and I think right now he is the best man for the job. However, Jose would be a good option if the chairman wants a change, because look at the mans record. Yes we can argue he has been at clubs where the chairman has splashed cash, however at Porto it was a different story. Should Jose be offerd a job, and if he chooses to accept it, I would be the few that would argue against the choice

Big mistake if they move kenny now and appoint someone that does a roy II. Keep kenny for atleast one season, see how he goes with a full season than think about extending his contract or replacing him if we don't improve our position.
