i concur an awful display ,spearing and carroll bullied out of the game suarez,meireles and reina only showing any sort of performance .

why don't our midfielder's ever move to receive the ball? especially lucas he see's a teammate with the ball and just looks at them never shows for the ball and on another note if i was andy carroll id be having a few choice words with our defenders, just hoofing long straight balls up to him, ffs oh and can we please drop kuyt so we can have suarez and raul linking up in behind carroll, we might actually pass the ball than

Spot on, it's one of the major problems (apart from width) in the team. Our movement off the ball is utterly atrocious. The secret to good team passing is good movement off the ball, and with no-one ever showing it will just break down again and again.

What a poor performance. We're still weak away from home , KD still has work to do.

Kyriagkos had a nightmare but Reina was MOM for me , kept us in it until the second silly non penalty was given.

exactly. playing meireles on the wing is always the wrong decision no matter if it on the right or left or if it's roy or kenny. poor tactics today. but yes we need at least 6 new players of high quality.

Johnson and Agger out did us in. Reina did well despite.

no meireles' is at his best when he plays from the right in an attacking team he gets into the right places at the right times look at the goal run he went on but when we play defensive and deep he is non existent, next average team we play we should drop carroll and play saurez and kuyt up front and have raul from the right like against man utd as it was by far our performance of the last 2 seasons

he wasn't playing on the wing against united or in the games when he went on the goal run. he was playing in the position we used to see stevie in just behind the striker. but i agree he's better in a free role.

i believe the team would have been better balanced if he was playing in the middle today with maxi on the left.
