No. He's obviously more interested in that crappy rap music stuff he's into.
Sell him to the recording studio agent or whatever they're called, flamin' tosspot. mad

there are two players who IMHO have come in for a lot of stick recently and Rafa's behaviour in the press to them tells two different stories.

Babel

has been terrible, gets stick from the fans and Rafa says he must improve and deliver, essentially its his last chance

Lucas

Has struggled, got stick from the fans and now puts in a few good performances and Rafa defends him to the hilt and reitterates how good he is.

IMO i think Rafa rates Lucas higher than Babel who's he's dispaointed by, either through performances on the pitch, training ground or attitute (or all of the above)

Another newbie! Welcome Gav. wink

I'm sick of Babel. He appears to be a lazy get with his head elsewhere.

As for Lucas, I think he's improving and could come good this season.
At least the lad looks like he's trying.

Babel is only any good when the game is stretched, usually when we are leading and the oppoition are pressing us and leave space at the back.

Even then thats only because of his pace and nothing else.

He's not a good passer, he dewlls on the ball and gives it away too much, his finishing and shooting is poor. He should get in the mox more and maybe something will fall for him.

He must be one of our most saleable assets though, as he's still young and a full Dutch international.

Cheers,

have to say you all seem very knowledgable so i'm sure i'll enjoy reading and posting on here for a long time... was an old member of BBC 606 but even back 3 years ago it was full of morons

Yep fully agree with your view. I'm describing Babel as a complete joke at them moment, I ahve nothing against footballers rapping but he aint no John Barnes at either career

Some more than others. Some think they know it all and entertain us with total twaddle. eek

I'm not that knowledgeable tbh, but that doesn't make me a bad supporter I hope.

i'd sell him but only if things were different with the owners and we'd be guaranteed to keep all the cash.

someone posted something ealier about Rafa having all the closed season to offload babel, lucas and other players and get some funds in

but perhaps rafa knew what was happening with the cash - so what use would it have been to get rid of good players and only be allowed to buy average players with the profit kept for the pockets of the scumbags from over the pond?

i wouldn't care if we got to use the money or it just reduced debt - imo he is a bad influence on other players around him with his poor attitude and laziness so would just get shut of him
