That is absolutely fuc*ing bullsh1t,Ben thatcher elbowed Pedro Mendes, the ref booked him then the FA reviewed the incident and gave Thatcher an 8 game ban,so that is totally contradicting the FIFA safety net bollox,

the FA say if the incident is in the refs report and if he deals with the incident during the game weather its the right decision or not they'll just go along with what the ref did no one was excepting anything to happen to rooney because the ref dealt with the elbow incident during the game bullsh!t it might be but its the FA's rules they are not gunna go against there own rules and make themselves look stupid

i would go along with that normally,However Martin Samuel mentioned a week or two ago that this is not the rule and the FA can review at anytime. They dont because every incident or yellow card would be reviewed on a Monday therefore causing an adminstration nightmare. The FA as we know are ridiculous and now have dug an even bigger hole for when the next incident comes up.

i think the rules that the FA cant or wont just give rooney a 4/5 game ban witch is what i think the punishment is for what he did are ridiculous anyone who knows anything about football knows what he did was just stupid and petulant rooney in a nutshell really but my main problem isn't this incident its that the FA have just made a rule to protect themselves and they're officials they are meant to be running football is this country not making stuff up so they run away from there responsibilities so no matter what happens they will just run and hide behind rule 3 section 11 or whatever spineless w@nkers

We all knew what was going to happen, the most powerful man in the F.A. sorted it out for his player to get away with what is more commonly known as assault!, a phone call here an odd rant there lift up the carpet and sweep it away!! I hope Rooney is on the receiving end of and elbow or a bone crunching tackle prety soon then we will see what old whiskey nose has too say about that!! If MaCarthy was that way inclined he could of had Rooney for assault. If we were caught doing that on cctv you could bet your ass we would get a visit from the Rozzers.

the differance between certain managers and ex managers in the premier league to ferguson is he wins leagues and cups so he can say what he likes as he produces the goods unlike the saint-like benitez who doesnt , yes benitez the cleaners was right but it was ferguson who won as he won the league and will probably do it this season aswell , and how much it hurts its reality .

Had Rooney been on the recieveing end of the elbow I suspect the outcome may be different it's a given fergie gets more slack than the rest and to IMHO it's worth 3-6 points a season
